(Battle Of Bands)

Description:

A vanilla battle of the bands. Participants will register as a band of at most 8 members and have to send a completed musical performance (with a video of each player playing) Record the individual parts(vocals, instruments, harmonies, etc.), mix them together, and then prepare a video of everyone performing together.

 

Rules:

  • Team Size: 2-8

  • Judging Criteria: Technique, Tightness, Overall Sync, Creativity

Deadline for submission: 12th March

  • Time limit: 3 - 6 minutes

  • Rename the final video as "Team name@Jugalbandi”

Guidelines to prepare your entry: 

Participants can choose to record a video in the following ways:

  • Record the individual parts(vocals,instruments, harmonies, etc.) , mix them together and then prepare.a video of everyone performing together

  • Participants can also send a video of them Jamming together on any video-conferencing app

  • Participants can also record a video of them jamming together in a JAM room

General Rules:

  • Team has to record a cover of any song or an original composition. Bonus points will be given for an original composition

  • At least 2 instrumentalists are required, including 1 percussion instrument compulsorily. At east 1 vocalist is compulsory

  • Purely classical numbers are not allowed, however a classical refrain is permitted.

 

Awards:

Winner - Rs. 3000

1st Runner up - Rs. 2000

2nd Runner up - Rs. 1000
